Job Summary:
We at Elicus are seeking a skilled PHP WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in PHP programming along with expertise in WordPress development. As part of our collaborative team, you’ll leverage your expertise to create and customize WordPress plugins and themes, ensuring seamless functionality and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress plugins and themes to meet project requirements.
- Customize existing plugins and themes to enhance functionality and align with client needs.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with user-facing elements.
- Implement RESTful APIs for efficient data exchange between server and client applications.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and security through diligent testing and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in WordPress development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a PHP developer with expertise in WordPress development.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git/GitHub.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver results within deadlines.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in developing custom Gutenberg blocks.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
